Our desire is to help weave prayer into all aspects of church community life – encouraging us to explore the depth of God’s relationship with us and His heart for community.
We use many different approaches and opportunities to pray together, throughout the week as well as on Sundays. As well as the regular prayer times in our small groups, many people meet regularly in prayer triplets (usually 3 people but sometimes 2 or 4!) to allow a deeper level of sharing.
We also hold a monthly ‘Come and Pray Together’ event – usually from 9.30am – 11.00am on the 3rd Saturday morning each month. The church’s Mission Team pray each month on a Monday evening for the many overseas missions GBC support. See the calendar or contact the church office for more information.
Weekly prayer meetings take place at the church centre as follows:
10.15am on Sundays – prayer before the morning service
9.15am on Mondays – prayer for the work of Cornerstone
7.30am on Tuesdays – general prayer
9.30am on Thursdays – the church staff meet to pray
