Parking in the streets around our Church Centre can be challenging! To make things as easy as possible this is our advice on the best places to park. Please allow a few more minutes to arrive so you can park away from the church.
Where not to park!
We ask everyone visiting the Church Centre not to park in East Chadley Lane or in Clyde Yard. Parking in East Chadley Lane is very difficult. It is almost impossible to park there for an event or to drop people off at the Church Centre without causing disputes with some of our neighbours. Clyde Yard is private property and we don’t have permission to park there.
Where best to park!
The easiest places to park are:
Park Lane opposite the Community School,
Comrades Club in St Ann’s Lane (on Sunday mornings)
Tudor Road
Public car parks can be found in Post Street and Bridge Place (immediately below the A14). Bridge Place is about 10 minutes walk, Post Street is 4 minutes.
Our own car parks!
Our car park off East Chadley Road has about 15 spaces (depending on how creative your parking is and whether you block someone else in)!
Our small Clyde Yard car park is reserved for people with mobility problems.
There is no vehicular passageway between the two car parks.
