Details of the Toolbox programme for the current term are here.
The concept of Toolbox is that we need different tools for different tasks and it’s really helpful to have a number of options so we can choose the right tool at the right time! We encourage everyone at GBC to consider whereabouts they are in their journey of faith and to choose the right tool to help in their discipleship and spiritual growth. Some people are exploring Christianity. Some are new to faith. Others have been Christians for a very long time! We know that people vary too in their personalities, learning styles and interests so we are keen to offer as wide a variety as possible in the types of groups and courses we run.
We have a number of small groups meeting regularly and many people continue to find meeting in this way a very helpful part of their discipleship journey.
Examples of other groups, courses and studies from recent Toolbox programmes have included:
Bible Studies – a regular afternoon group and an evening group – often following up from the Sunday sermon but sometimes looking at different topics. And some one-off short series of studies – eg a look at the book of Job.
Book Clubs – we choose a book for the term, read a chapter each week and then meet up once a week to discuss the chapter or join a WhatsApp group to do the same!
