Security personnel inspect the mangled remains of a bomb-laden car that exploded in the northern Nigerian city of Kaduna on 8 April 2012

For the past several years Islamic terrorists based in Northern Nigeria have been targeting Christian churches, pastors and family members in an unending campaign of religious genocide. Their goal is simple: to establish an Islamic state and impose a strict form of Sharia law upon all of Nigeria’s nearly 170 million inhabitants. Led by an organization known as Boko Haram, or "Western education is sinful," the terrorists have singled out Christian churches as one of their prime enemies.
