What is D-Caf?
D-Caf is a café style multi media expression of church for those aged 16+. We share the D-Caf ministry with the Medway Christian Fellowship. D-Caf is headed up by the MCF pastor, Adrian Woodbridge, and a team from both churches.
What do you do?
We seek to be community together and this shows itself in different ways. ‘We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well, because you had become so dear to us’. (1 Thess 2:8)·
- Sharing Community – We share a meal together during which we catch up and make new friends. We also use this time to celebrate life’s milestones.
- Caring Community – Much of the work of D-Caf happens outside Wednesday evenings and consists of advocacy work in areas of health, social care, housing and any other needs as they arise.
- Faith Community – All are welcome: faith or no faith. Each evening we take contemporary issues from a biblical perspective, discussion is round tables and all opinions and questions are listened to.
When do you meet?
D-Caf meets every Wednesday in term time at 7.30pm. We also have occasional trips out to Christian events and festivals such as Soul Survivor.
