Worship

Re:ady & CRè:che meet for worship in the small hall downstairs, and then Re:ady go to do their group activities. The other groups begin with their group activities. At 11.45am, Re:action & Re:ach come together in the small hall for a time of worship. If the adult worship is longer than usual then there is time for a few games.

Activities

Re:Forge groups use LIGHT,a programme of Bible-based sessions produced by Scripture Union (www.scriptureunion.org.uk).

LIGHT has appropriate material for each age-group. Here are some of the published aims:
- to develop skills to explore the Bible creatively
- to discover how to follow Jesus at home and school
- to encourage growth in faith

The aims are achieved through play activities, stories, games, Bible reading, and other exciting methods. The group sessions generally consist of:
(i) a game or activity to introduce the theme
(ii) Bible discovery (e.g. Bible reading, drama)
(iii) a closing activity to reinforce the main aim (e.g. craft, game, quiz, puzzle)

Re:ason use a new directed learning approach. This is in preparation for joining cells in year 10.
