We are a lively church with a passion to share the gospel with young people. We try to keep our youth ministry simple but not shallow. We place emphasis on sound Bible teaching with a high focus on our four aims:
• To introduce our young people to Jesus and give them an opportunity to put their faith in Him
• To develop and grow our young people in faith
• To make disciples who will serve the Lord in the power of the Holy Spirit
• To reach the young people in our community
Rock Solid
Rock Solid is a youth club for years 7-9, who enjoy fun games based around relevant issues; who can cope with embarrassment and mess; who are willing to be taken one step further and be challenged by a Christian perspective. Rock Solid Club gives the young people in our community an opportunity to feel a sense of ‘belonging’, and provides them with a place where they can feel safe and secure. The club is run by a team of leaders who are CRB checked and who care about young people. We meet every Friday during term time from 7.30 -9.30 pm in the main church hall. We look forward to meeting you and getting to know you better!

Crucible
Youth cells on Sunday evenings at 6.15 pm
Meeting weekly at GBC during term time for years 10+.
The first part of the evening follows the "welcome, worship, word and witness" pattern that we use in all our cell groups. The welcome and worship sections is done in a plenary session and then the word and witness sections take place in separate cell groups with lots of discussion and an opportunity for everyone to contribute and participate. Pastoral care for this age group is also co-ordinated through these groups.
The second half of the evening provides an opportunity for everyone to chill together with games, drinks and music.
Youth celebration on third Sunday mornings of the month at 10.30 am
Meeting every month at Godmanchester Primary School for years 7+, with Soul Survivor style worship, multi-media content and opportunities for the young people to contribute and participate.
The school is very close to GBC so the young people could make their own way there from GBC
or you could park in the car park by the school, drop them off and walk through to GBC.
Youth Band
Youth band gives young people an opportunity to develop their musical talents and a heart to worship God passionately. We meet every other Tuesday for band practice, Bible study, and prayer. We’ve led worship at RECHARGE, in Sunday services, and have been out on mission trips to lead youth group sessions around and about.
Soul Survivor
Ever feel like you’re the only one who believes in God, that you’re simply surviving as a follower of Jesus as you make your way through life? Well that’s why we go to this youth event every summer, to encourage each other and spend time finding out how amazing, awesome and loving our God is. There is nothing more encouraging than seeing thousands of young people who are passionate about Jesus, giving up their week, camping in tents and having fun hanging out with God and each other.
GAP
Once every two months the young people of Huntingdonshire get together to worship God, welcome friends, and tackle relevant issues. We have invited external speakers to give talks, our own GAP Band to lead worship in their own style, and have a great time of fellowship.
