Genesis 50.20 “You intended to harm me.”
This is one of the most important verses in Genesis. One of the most important verses in the whole of the Bible. Joseph says, “In hindsight, I didn’t want this to happen. But truth be told, I wouldn’t change a thing because I’ve got to feed a nation, and tell them about God and love them”.
Life really is a tapestry that God is weaving together. And from the bottom of the loom, quite frankly, we peer up and all we see is knots. And we look from the top and we see a glorious portrait of what God is doing. It makes sense. We can be horrified at sin and still have hope in God. We must; otherwise, we have no hope at all.
Romans 8:28 says the same
“God works out all things for the good of those who love him and are called according to his purpose.” Are you called according to his purpose? Then everything in your life will be worked out by God for good. And until you see it, you walk by faith and trust him.
“There’s nothing to be afraid of. Everything will be fine”. God has changed Joseph’s heart,. He can change your heart.
